Strutts North Mill- Belper Pubs Past and Present Walk
Step back in time to the Inns and Taverns of the Town to discover their historic past and entertaining stories.
This easy to moderate one mile walk includes a mid-point stop at either Crich Brew Co Brewery Tap or The Railway, for an opportunity to purchase refreshments.
Meet at The Talbot pub, Bridgefoot. The walk lasts approximately 2 hours.
Please note this is not a circular walk and finishes at the Old King's Head on Days Lane.

The mill needs new workers—and you could be one of them!
Join Belper North Mill Trust for this immersive 90-minute walking adventure, weaving through history from Belper Mills to Long Row. Along the way, meet colourful costumed characters who bring the stories of the mill and its workers to life, from daily routines to local legends.
Enjoy an exclusive glimpse inside the North Mill basement, exploring the hidden spaces where the heartbeat of the mill once pulsed—just be ready for a few steps along the way!
Perfect for history lovers, families, and anyone who enjoys a walking tour full of stories, surprises, and living history, this 90-minute journey lets you experience 1820 like never before!

The Belper Bunnies have escaped! not by chance, but driven by curiosity…they’ve wandered into shops, tucked themselves into windows and hidden among the treasures of
Belper, but now they can’t find their way home. To bring them back, we need a little bit of magic…
Pick up a trail map from Primsisters and visit the businesses with a known hiding spot to help find the spell to bring the bunnies home in time for Easter. Give the correct spell, and you may be in for a prize!
The trail will run Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th, from 10:30am. When you’re finished, drop your trail map off at Lonely Red Planet on King Street, The Cabin of Makers on Campbell Street, Dormouse Books on the Market Place, or Primsisters on High Street to claim a mini prize, and be in for a chance to win some bigger local prizes!

Belper's Nightwatchmen Trail
The Old Night Watchmen from our historic mills have decided to explore the town, and cause some mischief…can you find them and answer their riddles…?
Pick up a trail map from Primsisters and trick or treat your way around town, looking out for the Night Watchmen who have decided to explore some of Belper’s businesses…find them, and you may just get yourself a treat! Answer all of their riddles correctly, and you may be in for a bigger treat!
The trail will run Friday 24th and Saturday 25th, 10:30am-4:30pm both days. When you’re finished, drop your trail map off at Think Twice on King Street, The Cabin of Makers on Campbell Street, Dormouse Books on the Market Place, or Primsisters on High Street.
